<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus capable of obtaining a high-quality ultrasound image while suppressing the temperature rise in an ultrasound probe. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes: a signal processing means disposed in the ultrasound probe and processing a reception signal outputted from an oscillator array; a battery supplying an electric power to the ultrasound probe; a battery power detecting means detecting the battery power; a heat storage means cooling the signal processing means; and a heat storage remaining capacity detecting means detecting the heat storage remaining capacity of the heat storage means, wherein the apparatus changes the operation mode of the ultrasound probe according to the detection result of the battery power detecting means and the heat storage remaining capacity detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
