<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a clearance between the outer periphery of a battery cell and the inner periphery of a frame-type case smaller, thereby reducing the size of a battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack comprises: a cell assembly 3 having four side faces in the thickness direction, with a connection terminal 4 disposed on one side face; and a square shaped, frame type case 5 having the four side faces of the cell assembly 3 embedded in its inner periphery parts. The frame type case 5 includes, on its set of frame parts 5c and 5d intersecting a frame part 5a opposed to one side face of the cell assembly 3, a deformation acceleration part 17 which causes the set of frame parts 5c and 5d to become elastically deformed in the thickness direction of the cell assembly 3 which is embedded in the inner periphery parts of the frame type case 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
