<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a distance bar superior in operability required when a focal point is adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency component is extracted from a video signal of a prescribed area in a screen to form a TV-AF evaluation value signal, and output of pixels used for focus detection of an imaging element is collectively taken in two output signals such as an A image and a B image. Then, in order to obtain the deviation amount of a focal point at each portion in an imaging area, phase difference distance-measuring calculation is performed to create a distance map. Then, when a distance bar for adjusting the focal point is displayed, the maximum value of a scale is obtained in accordance with the distance map, and the distance bar is displayed by having the scale at an equal interval or at a logarithmic interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
