<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development excellent in heat-resistant storage property and low-temperature fixability. <P>SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by coating surfaces of toner base particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant with resin fine particles, and crosslinking the resin fine particles to one another on the toner surface by dehydration condensation reaction of a silanol group. The toner is obtained, preferably, by coating the toner base particles with an emulsion of resin fine particles having a group that generates a silanol group by hydrolysis, and then drying to crosslink the resin fine particles to one another on the toner surface by dehydration condensation reaction of the silanol group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
