<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus and a computer system, in which the generation of a margin on a medium is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting apparatus includes: an ejection head for moving to eject liquid; a sending mechanism for sending the medium; and a detection device for detecting a position of an end of the medium. The apparatus repeats motions of: detecting the position of the end using the detection device; sending the medium using the sending mechanism; and ejecting the liquid to the medium from the moving ejection head. The liquid ejecting apparatus changes at least either one of a starting position and an ending position where the liquid is ejected from the moving ejection head, according to the detected position of the end.
