The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a composition which enables the expansion of the concentration range in which pyrroloquinoline quinone can exhibit a cell proliferation promoting function; and a process for producing the composition with high efficiency. The present invention provides: a liposome composition which contains pyrroloquinoline quinone or a salt thereof and a sugar and also contains liposomes having particle diameters ranging from 1 to 10 µm in an amount of 50% or more; and a process for producing the liposome composition.
