<p>A method, base station and terminal for recovering a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection are provided by the present invention, which can implement the fast recovery of the RRC connection after the switching failure or the Radio Link Failure (RLF). The method comprises: after receiving an indication of approaching a target cell reported by a User Equipment (UE) or a measurement report carrying target cell information reported by the UE, a base station to which a current service cell of the UE belongs notifies the UE of the public configuration information of the target cell, wherein the public configuration information is used for recovering the RRC connection between the UE and the target cell. The base station comprises a reception module and a notification module. The terminal comprises a transmission module, a storage module and a connection recovery module. The method, base station and terminal in the embodiments of the present invention can implement the fast recovery of the RRC connection after the switching failure or the RLF, thereby improving the user experience and the system performance.</p> |
