PURPOSE: A pump for a steering gear of a ship is provided to selectively control the amount of discharged oil per a daily cycle of a hydraulic cylinder by selectively controlling tilt angles when pistons are successively ascended along a tilt path. CONSTITUTION: A pump for a steering gear of a ship comprises a body(100), a cylinder block, a tilting guide member, and a casing(400). The body comprises a rotary shaft(110) connected to a driving shaft for steering. An internal space of the body is filled with the constant amount of oil. The cylinder block is installed in the internal space and is interlocked according to the rotation of the rotary shaft. The cylinder block has multiple pistons which are arranged at a predetermined interval along a rotating direction of the rotary shaft. The tilting guide member is installed in the upper wall of the internal space to guide the rotation of the rotary shaft. The tilting guide member is tilted at a predetermined angle on the rotary shaft. The underside of the tilting guide member is contacted with the upper end of the pistons. The casing is coupled at the bottom of the body and flows in and out the constant amount of oil according to the rotation of the cylinder block. |
