<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate with little luminance unevenness (hot spot) in the vicinity of an incident face and with a uniform luminance distribution in nearly a whole area of light emission face, in case a light source consisting of a plurality of point light sources are used. <P>SOLUTION: For the light guide plate provided with an emission face, an opposite surface opposed to the emission face and at least one incident face pinched between the emission face and the opposite surface, that one incident face at least is divided into two or more regions nearly parallel with a width direction of the incident face, which include a first partial region containing at least a region with anisotropic diffusion characteristics and a second partial region with isotropic diffusion characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
