<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of switching between observation with visible light and observation of meibomian glands with infrared light without having a filter or a mechanism for attaching/detaching the filter to/from a light path. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared light illumination system includes an infrared light source for outputting infrared light and illuminates the rear surface of an eyelid with the infrared light. A visible light illumination system includes a visible light source for outputting visible light and illuminates an examined eye with the visible light. A control part executes control to put on or put out the infrared light source, and executes control to put on or put out the visible light source. A photography system includes an imaging device for detecting light and outputting an image signal, guides the reflected light of the infrared light from the rear surface of the eyelid to the imaging device, and guides the reflected light of the visible light from the examined eye to the imaging device. A display part displays a meibomian gland image based on the image signal from the imaging device which detects the reflected light of the infrared light, and displays a visible light image based on the image signal from the imaging device which detects the reflected light of the visible light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
