<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine including a cutter with a soil discharge port rotatably provided in front of the partition wall of a shell and having a plurality of bits on a rotary disc, a driving device for driving the cutter, and a soil discharge device for carrying backward sediment trapped into the machine through the soil discharge port and the opening of the partition wall, the bits, when worn, being replaceable through the inside of the boring machine having a relatively smaller size not allowing the entry of a person into the soil discharge device. <P>SOLUTION: A cutter 4 consists of sliding bits 4d mounted on the rotary disc at its fixed position removably therefrom and slidably around a soil discharge port 4b in the radial direction, and center bits 4i mounted on the rotary disc removably therefrom while stepping over the soil discharge port 4b. A rail 6b is provided on the ceiling of a shell 1 in the longitudinal direction, and a carrier 6 with a chain 6a is disposed movably along the rail 6b. A soil discharge device 5 is mounted on a partition wall 1a removably therefrom, and the soil discharge device 5 is suspended down via the chain 6a of the carrier 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
