The present invention is provided with: an implement magazine (20) for storing a machining implement (31) for machining a workpiece and a measuring implement (32) for measuring a workpiece, the implement magazine being disposed in a storage area adjacent to a workpiece machining area; a main shaft (10) that moves relative to the workpiece, the machining implement and the measuring implement being removably attached to the main shaft; a shutter (40) provided between the machining area and the storage area and capable of opening and closing; a transceiver (51) mounted to the measuring implement; and a communication module (52) for communicating with the transceiver of the measuring implement attached to the main shaft, the communication module being disposed in the storage area.
