<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cutter sharpening machine capable of smoothly sharpening a blade without any interference of a handle of a cutter and a hand holding the cutter with the sharpening machine even if the blade is sharpened with a blade tip of the cutter being directed in each extending direction at both ends of the generating line when sharpening the cutter in which both sides of the blade such as a thin-bladed kitchen knife must be sharpened. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric cutter sharpening machine 1, a sharpening face 19 of a grinding wheel 8 is formed in a conical surface, a driving device for rotation is mounted inside a housing 5, and a blade of the cutter is sharpened with the longitudinal direction of the cutter being substantially matched with the generating line direction of the sharpening face 19. The driving device for rotation has a means capable of substantially setting the cutter in the generating line direction of the sharpening face 19, and fitting the blade to the sharpening face 19 without any interference of a handle of the cutter and a hand holding the cutter with the sharpening machine even if the blade is sharpened with a blade tip of the cutter is directed in each extending direction at both ends of the generating line 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
