<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of achieving miniaturization without changing the size of parts mounted on a board. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power steering apparatus includes a control device 10 having: an electric motor for applying an assist force to the operation of a steering wheel; a bridge circuit for switching an electric current flowing to the electric motor; and a motor drive controller for controlling the bridge circuit based on a steering torque of the steering wheel and for controlling the drive of the electric motor. The control device 10 has: a control board 12 with the motor drive controller mounted thereon; a parallel board 131 that is disposed facing the control board 12; and a vertical board 132, which is disposed in the direction intersecting to a plate surface of the control board 12, and on which a capacitor 310 for regulating an electric current flowing through the electric motor is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
