ALUMINUM FOIL FOR COLLECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aluminum foil for a collector which complicates the peeling of a layer containing an electrode active material.

SOLUTION: The aluminum foil for a collector has an angle of contact of N-methylpyrrolidone with at least either foil surface of more than 45° nor more than 60°. The foil surface is preferably roughened. The foil surface has oil attached thereto, and the amount of oil is preferably in the range of 50-1,000 μg/m2. The oil used may suitably be rolling oil.
