<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make even a structure in which a rolling bearing supports a camshaft improve operational responsiveness of hydraulic equipment while making an engine small-sized. <P>SOLUTION: In a housing (7), there included are oil passages (724, 725) on a timing advance side and on a timing retard side, each one end of which opens to a support surface (75) supporting a camshaft (1). Annular grooves (12, 13) on a timing advance side and on a timing retard side which are disposed in parallel with an outer circumferential surface (11) to communicate with the oil passages (724, 725), respectively; and communication passages on a timing advance side and on a timing retard side (14, 15) which communicate the annular grooves (12, 13) with a timing advance chamber (S1) and a timing retard chamber (S2) of a variable valve timing device (2), respectively, are formed in the camshaft (1). A rolling bearing (8) is disposed between the support surface (75) of the housing (7) and the outer circumferential surface (11) of the camshaft (1) to restrict oil flow between adjacent ones of annular grooves (12, 13). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
