Disclosed are a phone book record recognition method and device of a data card. In the method, after a phone book of a data card is completely loaded, and when a connected user creates a record in the phone book, a label is set for the record. When the user searches the phone book, the record having the label in the phone book is displayed to the user. The device comprises an editing module, a label setting module, and a searching and displaying module. Also disclosed is a data card. The present invention effectively protects private data of users.
