The tire (1) has reinforcing elements comprising a carcass (4), metal wires and/or a metal mesh, where the metal wires and/or metal mesh are electrically connectable with a body of a vehicle. Electrically conductive elements (5) are electrically connected with the metal wires and/or a metal mesh and extend up to an outer side of a radially outwardly arranged running surface (2) of the tire through the running surface. The electrically conductive elements consist of electrically conductive carbon, and are formed as electrically conductive carbon fibers. An independent claim is also included for a method for testing conductivity of electric current from a body of a vehicle over the vehicle tire.
