The simulation system (10) has a user interface (11), over which a vehicle to be simulated, such as a vehicle module (15), surrounding object for the vehicle, a driver assistance system to be simulated, a sensor of the driver assistance system and a driver to be simulated are defined as simulation relevant parameters. A simulation computer (12) automatically simulates the interaction of the driver assistance system, the sensors of the driver assistance system, the driver and the vehicle after definition of the simulation relevant parameters.
