<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide two-component developer that suppresses scraping of a coating agent of a carrier and attachment of an external additive peeled off from the toner to the surface of the carrier, and thereby suppresses deterioration in capability of charging toner of the carrier and the occurrence of image failure such as fogging. <P>SOLUTION: Two-component developer contains toner and a carrier.
