This organic EL multi-color light-emitting device has a substrate and a first and second light-emitting element disposed in parallel on the surface of the substrate, wherein: the first light-emitting element has, between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, in the given order in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the substrate from the positive electrode side, a first organic layer, a second organic layer, and a third organic layer; the second light-emitting element has, between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, in the given order in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the substrate from the positive electrode side, the second organic layer and the third organic layer; the first organic layer contains a first light-emission dopant; the third organic layer contains a second light-emission dopant; and the second organic layer contains one of (A) a compound having an arylamine site, a furan site, or a thiophene site, (B) a compound having an arylamine site and a site containing a nitrogen-containing six-membered ring structure, (C) a compound having a carbazole site, a furan site, or a thiophene site, and (D) a compound having a carbazole site and a site containing a nitrogen-containing six-membered ring structure.
