The friction clutch (10) has a pressing plate which is movable relative to the counter-plate (12) for pressing a clutch disc between the backing plate and the pressure plate. A differential pulley (14) is provided for transmitting actuating force for relative movement of pressure plate, to the counter-plate. The differential pulley comprises a rotatable primary cable drum (16) which is rotatably connectable with secondary cable drum (18).
