The motorized liquid storage device has a storage chamber (10) whose internal volume is partially filled with the liquid. A piston mold unit (14) is adjusted along an adjustable axis (18). The piston mold unit restricts a partial volume (16) of an inner volume filled with the liquid. An electric motor (28) is provided in the motorized liquid storage device. A pinion mold unit (30) is connected to the electric motor such that the pinion mold unit is displaced about a pinion axis of rotation molded into the rotational movement by the motor. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing the motorized liquid storage device.
