The device (AG) has inputs (E1-En) connected to sensors (S1-Sn), and outputs (A1-An) connected to control devices (SG1-SGn). The devices process sensor data and output control signals to actuators. The devices performs functions such as engine control function, gear box control function, occupant protection control function, anti-lock braking system (ABS) control function and electronic stability program (ESP) control function. The device receives the data, provides the data to the devices through the outputs for subsequent operation and distributes information to all the devices.
