METHOD, BASE TRANSCEIVER STATION AND ACCESS TERMINAL SUPPORTING MULTI-CARRIER FREQUENCY ACCESS

A multi-carrier frequency access method, base transceiver station(BTS) and access terminal are provided in the invention. Said method includes: the BTS obtains the basic carrier frequency list and the expand carrier frequency list which are configured by the operation maintenance center according to the probability that the carrier frequency used by the cell in the BTS is supported by the terminals in the cell; according to said basic carrier list and the expand carrier frequency list, the BTS configures the cost message, wherein, the configured cost message carries the information of the carrier frequency in the basic carrier frequency list and the expand carrier frequency list; the BTS broadcasts the configured cost message to the terminals of the cell in the BTS, and the idle state terminal determines the carrier frequency used while accessing the network according to said cost message and accesses the network successfully. A system supporting the multi-carrier access is also provided, and by using said method, in the condition that the system can support multiple frequency bands, various types of terminals can access normally, thus increasing the success rate of the network access and the access performance of the mobile network.
