<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device for enabling a user to comfortably execute the replacement operation of a menu item. <P>SOLUTION: The display control method of a menu picture according to the present invention includes: making switchable a first menu picture and a second menu picture; moving one of icons included in the second menu picture from a specific position to the inside of a specific area; switching the second menu picture to the first menu picture while displaying the icon moved to the inside of the specific area; and moving the icon in the specific area to the upper part of one of icons included in the first menu picture displayed at the specific position.
