<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient organic thin film solar cell having a bulk heterostructure. <P>SOLUTION: An organic thin film solar cell includes: a pair of electrodes; and an active layer which is arranged between the pair of electrodes and is a mixed layer comprising a p-type semiconductor and an n-type semiconductor. The p-type semiconductor is an acene-based compound represented by the following general formula (1) äin the formula, n represents an integer of 2 or 3, and all of functional groups R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-R<SB POS="POST">10</SB>are hydrogen or at least one of R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, R<SB POS="POST">7</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">8</SB>among the functional groups R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-R<SB POS="POST">10</SB>is an alkyl group and the remainders are hydrogen}, and the n-type semiconductor is an organic semiconductor having an alkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
