<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for recording contents supplied by a content server in a recording medium, such as an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: An information recording and reproducing device 100 transmits disk package information, receives a title which is generated by a content server 18 to be additionally recorded and in which a file name of a file constituting the title to be additionally recorded is defined so as not to overlap with a file name of a file constituting a title already recorded in a medium, receives button data for new menu screen display generated by the content server 18, receives new disk package information describing the title generated by the content server 18 to be additionally recorded, the button data for new menu screen display generated by the content server 18, and file name information of the file constituting the title to be additionally recorded, and additionally records the new disk package information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
