<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a skin material that can perform molding without deteriorating designability of a skin material comprising natural leathers, and to provide a method for manufacturing a vehicle interior material with such skin materials. <P>SOLUTION: There is contained a hot-press step of forming the skin material 20 to a steric shape by pressing the skin materials 20 that has a natural leather by a heated pressing member 62. In the hot-press step, a vertical wall to stand up from a peripheral edge of a non-design surface toward a surrounding surface is formed in the skin material 20 by pressing the non-design surface in the skin material 20 by heated pressing member 62, and by forming the skin material 20 so that the non-design surface becomes a shape arranged to the pressure direction side of the non-design surface by the pressing member 62 rather than a surrounding surface of the non-design surface in the skin material 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
