<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyridine compound having a low diazine compound concentration and produced from a crude pyridine compound containing diazine compounds as impurities. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the pyridine compound produced by a method comprising a reaction step to react the crude pyridine compound with an aluminum hydride compound and a distillation step to distill the reaction product obtained by the reaction step.
