<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which secures the flexural strength that is equivalent to or higher than the flexural strength of a conventional coil component using a magnetic core made of ferrite even when a magnetic core made of a magnetic alloy is used. <P>SOLUTION: A coil component 10 includes: a magnetic core 11 made of a magnetic alloy; a coil 14 having a spiral part 14a disposed around a column part 11b of the magnetic core 11; a magnetic outer sheath 15 formed at the magnetic core 11 so as to cover the coil 14 excluding a lower surface of the magnetic core 11; and a first external terminal ET1 and a second external terminal ET2 formed at the magnetic core 11 and the magnetic outer sheath 15. An insulative reinforcement film CT1 is formed so as to cover a surface of a portion on a lower surface of a plate part 11a of the magnetic core 11 where the first external terminal ET1 and the second external terminal ET2 do not exist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
