<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make consumption power in a shipping position close to a target value without executing complex work such as cable connection to an external device and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a storage part 24 for storing a setting value of luminance; a control part 22 for adjusting the luminance of a light source according to the setting value of the luminance; and an illuminance sensor 26 for detecting external luminance. In a state where screen emitting light of a liquid crystal television 100 is reflected and input by a reflector fixed at a predetermined relative position to the screen of the liquid crystal television 100, the control part 22 makes the illuminance sensor 26 detect the luminance while gradually changing the luminance of the light source by changing the setting value of the luminance, and makes the storage part 24 store the setting value with which the luminance becomes a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
