A reception device (10) is provided with a demodulation unit for demodulating a modulated wave modulated by orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), and is capable of estimating reliability information without depending on the frame structure to be received. The demodulation unit (11) is provided with: a disturbing wave detection unit (102) which, when the reception electric power exceeds a threshold value in each sample of received modulated waves received by the reception device (10) to thereby detect received modulated waves containing disturbing waves, performs a substitution process to substitute the received signal exceeding the threshold value with a predetermined value; a first disturbing wave power estimation unit (104) which, with respect to the OFDM symbol contained in the received modulated wave, estimates the disturbing wave power contained in the OFDM symbol, on the basis of the number of samples subjected to the substitution process; and a demodulated data generation unit (12) which demodulates the received modulated wave and generates demodulated data, by performing a demodulation process on the basis of the disturbing wave power estimated by the first disturbing wave power estimation unit (104), with respect to the received modulated wave subjected to the substitution process by the disturbing wave detection unit (102).
