PROCESSING SYSTEM AND MATHOD FOR SHORT MESSAGE VALUE-ADDED SERVICE

Disclosed in the present invention are a processing system and method for a short message value-added service. The system includes a short message gateway, a multimedia messaging service gateway and a Service Provider (SP) server. The method includes: configuring SP information of a short message value-added service in advance in the multimedia messaging service gateway; sending the value-added service uplink short message in the received uplink short message to the multimedia messaging service gateway by the short message gateway; converting the uplink short message to an uplink multimedia messaging service and sending it to the SP server by the multimedia messaging service gateway; returning a corresponding downlink multimedia messaging service to the multimedia messaging service gateway according to the received uplink multimedia messaging service by the SP server; parsing the received downlink multimedia messaging service and judging whether the source number is in the SP information of the native short message value-added service, if yes, transforming the downlink multimedia messaging service to a downlink short message and sending it to the short message gateway by the multimedia messaging service gateway; and sending the downlink short message to a user by the short message gateway. The present invention greatly reduces the service load of the short message gateway and the short message center.
