<p>Disclosed is an information storage method for a mobile terminal, comprising: receiving new information; upon determination of that the new information is not able to be stored in a storage space pre-allocated for an information type of the new information but is able to be stored in an expansion space, storing the new information in the expansion space. Further disclosed is a corresponding mobile terminal. The mobile terminal comprises a receiving module and a storage control module. In the present invention, when a pre-allocated storage space is insufficient for storing new information, the new information is stored in an expansion space, thereby solving the problem that new information fails to be received and stored, reducing a probability of information loss, and enhancing user experience.</p> |
