<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying device capable of conveying articles in any direction on a conveying surface. <P>SOLUTION: The article conveying device 1 which conveys the articles 9 using the vibration of a movable body 6 includes: a first elastic support means 52 which supports an intermediate table 51 in a horizontal direction with reference to a base 4; and a second elastic support means 53 which supports the movable body 6 in a vertical direction with reference to the intermediate table 51. The first elastic support means 52 comprises four rod-like spring members extending in a vertical direction, and first and second piezoelectric elements 71 and 72 are stuck on mount surfaces which are perpendicular to each other of side surfaces thereof. The second elastic support means 53 comprises sheet-like spring members provided in the horizontal direction, and a third piezoelectric element 73 is stuck on at least one surface of the sheet-like spring members. By applying a sine voltage of the same frequency while making the first to third piezoelectric elements 71, 72 and 73 have phase differences, the movable body 6 generates synthetic vibration having components perpendicular to the elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
