The purpose of the present invention is to provide a stereoscopic view image generating system capable of easily obtaining a stereoscopic view image. The stereoscopic view image generating system comprises a camera (12) equipped with a fish-eye lens (20) and a processing device (14) for processing an image captured by the camera (12) and generating a stereoscopic image. The processing device (14) includes a detection unit (22) for detecting an edge of the image and a generation unit (26) for specifying a subject (18) included in the image according to the result of the detected edge, determining the projection amount of the specified subject (18), and processing the image according to the determined projection amount, thereby generating a stereoscopic view image. |
