摘要 For known thermal cutting devices, the cutting wire has a distance from the material that makes it difficult to perform equalization cuts without special guidance, in particular when the cutting bow is positioned at an angle. Furthermore, known thermal cutting devices are equipped with traditional transformers, which require special supply lines due to the high weight of the transformers. The new cutting device should be able to perform equalization cuts in any position without guidance and without a heavy transformer. The heating wire (8) is electrically heated by the power connection (7) by means of the tips (11) of the acute-angled heat sink (3), and the power supply is ensured by means of a multi-stage switched-mode power supply having a weight of about 80 g. The power contact, which is designed as an acute-angled heat sink and which heats the heating wire by means of a light switched-mode power supply, enables not only equalization cuts but also a large number of further design possibilities, which can for example make work on façades or roof insulation work easier, quicker, and more comfortable.
