<p>A method and an apparatus for processing key function are provided by the present invention. The apparatus comprises: a side key that is located at the side surface of the terminal body and configured to receive triggering operation; a transferring module that is configured to send the triggering operation to a key control module; said key control module that is configured to receive the setting of corresponding relation between the side key and the function corresponded to the side key, and when receiving the triggering operation from the transferring module ,configured to search the function corresponded to the side key that is receiving said triggering operation according to said corresponding relation and transfer the searched function to a processing chip; said processing chip that is configured to perform the processing corresponding to said searched function. The present invention can implement a user-defined function corresponding to the side key.</p> |
