METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING MULTIMEDIA CONFERENCE SERVICE AND CORRESPONDING DEVICE

A method for implementing a multimedia conference service and a corresponding device. The method comprises: upon receiving a request for joining a multimedia conference sent by a terminal, a terminal server selecting a number from a number resource pool configured locally and allocating the number to the terminal, and sending a registration request to a session initiation protocol (SIP) proxy server, the registration request carrying the number allocated to the terminal; and upon receiving a registration success message returned by the SIP proxy server, the terminal server sending to an application server a request for joining a multimedia conference, the request carrying the allocated number. The present invention simplifies the promotion of the multimedia conference service.
