A safety socket includes a socket board (1) and several plugholes (2) provided on the socket board. The socket board comprises a base board (3) and separate sub-socket boards (4) rotatably provided on the base board. Each separate sub-socket board is provided with the plugholes. The base board is provided with protruding poles (5) corresponding to each separate sub-socket board, and each separate sub-socket board is inserted around the protruding poles and can rotate. Because the plugholes can rotate on the base board of the socket, the demands of more electric appliances at different positions can be suited. Meanwhile because the unused plugholes are hidden after being rotated, children are prevented from inserting their fingers into the plugholes out of curiosity and the risk of electric shock can be avoided.
