<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem of fixation to one AC-DC conversion efficiency characteristic in a computer device depending on AC-DC power supply units that are mounted, and a conventional problem of, in a computer device having redundancy in power supply, lowering of AC-DC conversion efficiency on operation, compared to AC-DC conversion efficiency in running one AC-DC power supply unit. <P>SOLUTION: Two AC-DC power supply units having different AC-DC conversion efficiency characteristics are mounted onto one computer device, and according to a size of DC load of the computer device, a control is performed so as to switch to and run an AC-DC power supply unit with superior conversion efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
