PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tau aggregation inhibitor, a β-secretase inhibitor, an amyloid β protein aggregation inhibitor, and a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

SOLUTION: A compound expressed by general formula (I) or its salt is disclosed. In formula (I), R represents a hydrogen atom, a chain or cyclic hydrocarbon group optionally having a substituent, or a heterocyclic group optionally having a substituent; and Ar1 and Ar2 are the same or different from each other, representing a homocyclic group or a heterocyclic group optionally having a substituent. Otherwise, a compound expressed by general formula (II) or its salt is disclosed. In formula (II), Ar3 and Ar4 are the same or different from each other, representing a homocyclic group or a heterocyclic group optionally having a substituent.
