With this press-fitting structure, when press-fitting the press-fitting surface (12a) of a rotary yoke (12), which comprises laminated steel plates, to the surface (13a) of the rotary shaft (13) to be press-fitted, first convex sections (15) of the press-fitting surface (12a) of a rotary yoke (12), on which the first convex sections (15) and first concave sections (16) which substantially extend in the press-fitting direction are formed alternately, and second convex sections (17) of the surface (13a) of the rotary shaft (13) to be press-fitted, on which the second convex sections (17) and second concave sections (18) which extend in the direction intersecting with the press-fitting direction are formed alternately, are brought into contact and fitted together in a plastically deforming manner. Because the degree of the plastic deformation of the second convex sections (17) of the rotary shaft (13) is greater than the degree of the plastic deformation of the first convex sections (15) of the rotary yoke (12) in the completely press-fitted state, when the both members are fitted together while minimizing the deterioration of the magnetic characteristic by reducing the residual stress of the rotary yoke (12), a shear force is also created due to the plastic engagement in addition to the frictional force created between the both press-fitting surfaces, so the both members can be firmly fixed together without allowing any relative movement from each other. |
