The base has a cylinder (1) comprising a piston (2) to receive the gravitational force of goods and people. The piston is made of metal and held at a pressure point by a spring (3) made of steel. A magnetic film (4) is arranged at the pressure point. The piston is driven by the gravitational force such that magnet flux is produced in the cylinder and is transmitted to a current collector via a polymer film (6). An energy converter is arranged adjacent to the magnet, where the generated current is supplied to a power grid via a plug.
