METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SWITCH PROCESSING

A method and system for switch processing are provided. A target base station transmits switch information, which contains time division multiplexing distribution information configured by the target base station, to a source base station, and, the source base station and/or the target base station perform scheduling according to the switch information. By using the above technical solution, switch property is enhanced when a user equipment (UE) switches between a macro cell and a lower power node (LPN) cell, switch failure probability and call drop probability are reduced, and user experience and network performance are improved.
