PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a specific chemical substance in high sensitivity and high accuracy.

SOLUTION: The chemical substance 103 of a target can be detected in high sensitivity and high accuracy by expressing a chemical substance receptor 101, a G protein 106, and an ion channel 110 obtained by modifying serine at position-143 in G protein-responsive potassium ion channel Kir3.4 to threonine in established cells, and measuring the change of an ionic current caused by the potassium ion inflow into the cell through the potassium ion channel.
