<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new resin composition with abrasion resistance equal to or higher than that of a conventional covering material and especially suited for a covering material of a small diameter electric wire for an automobile, and to provide an electric wire for the automobile covered with the resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition contains: polypropylene (A); a polyolefin composition (B) obtained by polymerizing an ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin and a high molecular weight or low molecular weight polyolefin by the multistage polymerization method; an acid modified polypropylene (C); and a metal hydrate (D); wherein the mass ratio of the component (A), the component (B), and the component (C) is A:B:C=100:(10 to 25):(5 to 10), and the amount of the component (D) is 90 to 130 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the sum total of the component (A), the component (B), and the component (C). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
