<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a communication control method capable of effectively utilizing two devices which are left to be in a close proximity status. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus of an embodiment comprises a communication module, close proximity status detection means, connection establishment means, and session control means. The communication module executes close proximity wireless communication. The close proximity status detection means detects the communication module and an external device being in close proximity to each other. The connection establishment means establishes connection between the communication module and external device when the close proximity status is detected.
