<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf-stable once daily fixed combination of a GLP-1 compound and a basal insulin compound with unchanged PK/PD properties of the combined peptides compared to the individual active components. <P>SOLUTION: This shelf-stable pharmaceutical composition, comprising a fixed combination of an insulinotropic GLP-1 compound and a basal insulin, contains at least 5 zinc ions per 6 basal insulin molecules.
